What’s in the box?
Each week a selection of fruit and vegetables will be selected, based on
seasonality and where it was grown. If you choose the small box, you can
expect a small selection of produce (about 6-10 different items), perfect for 1
or 2 people. If you have a family, or just a larger appetite for fresh fruit and
veg, the large box will offer even more select items, in greater quantities
(about 10-14 different items).
May I choose what comes in the box?
When do I need to order by?
All orders for that week, need to be placed by Tuesday at 3pm each week. If
you place your order after the cut off time, you will automatically be placing
an order for the following week.
When does my box arrive at my home?
All orders will be delivered Thursday afternoon. Our delivery driver sets out
at noon. Depending on where they begin and how many deliveries they
have, you can expect your delivery anywhere between 12pm-3pm.
Do I have to be home when my delivery arrives?
No. The driver will leave your box in front of your front door, unless otherwise
requested. Our produce box will be fine outside for about an hour in freezing
temperatures, and about an hour in really warm weather. If you cannot be
around during the drop off window, consider having a neighbour pick it up for
you, or leave a large enough cooler out to drop your box into.
What if I live in an apartment building?
In the delivery notes section on the ordering page, please leave details for
our driver to enter your building.
I live outside of Stratford, how far will you deliver?
We deliver to Stratford and St. Marys.
May I pick up my box at The Local Community Food Centre?
No, not currently.
What if I am not satisfied with the quality of my box or something is
If you are not completely satisfied with an item in your produce box, please
contact us by email (firstname.lastname@example.org ) or call 519-508-3663 x 1002 and
we will refund you for the value of the product.
Is there a delivery fee?
Currently, delivery is free.
